At ImagineAct’s weeklong summer session, your child will take part
in experiences designed to expand skills in verbal
and non-verbal communication, social understanding
and flexible thinking. The environment
will be one of trust and acceptance, with a clear focus
on fun.
Tailored to help those with relationship difficulties
associated with Asperger’s and other social learning
problems, the curriculum of improvisational theater
techniques will give your child experiences in:
- Turn Taking
- Initiating Play
- Eye Contact and Spatial Proximity
- Joining Others in Play
- Recognizing Feelings
- Reading Non-Verbal Communication
- Emotional Regulation
